Hi! My name is Copper! My friends at the shelter would describe me as calm, sweet, and smart! I know SIT, SHAKE, DOWN, & WAIT! My previous owners state that I’m potty trained and that I did well living with both cats and dogs. Even though I love playing with the other dogs here at the shelter, I’d still like to meet any resident dogs to make sure we’re a good fit for eachother. I’m a bit on the shy side when it comes to strangers and children. I’m looking for a home where people will go slow and allow me to warm up at my own pace. I would do best in a home with teenagers or adults only, as children are too overwhelming for me. Because I can be slow to warm up, I’d like to meet all family members before going to my forever home. I am not suitable to live in an apartment. The hustle and bustle of the adoption kennel was a little too overwhelming for me. I’m relaxing in a quieter location. If you’re interested in meeting with me, just let your adoption counselor know!
