Hi! My name is Nicky. I’m one of the “Diamond Dogs” here at NHS. Yes, that means that I’m a GEM of a dog. I just need some “polish” & the right “setting” to sparkle as my very best self! I’m a young, smart, energetic and affectionate young dog! I love to play with toys, go for walks, run in the yards and play training games with my human friends! I had little training before coming to the shelter. Now that I’m here, I’m learning how to have more self control! I now know how to sit and lay down. I LOVE training because I’m a dog who enjoys mental stimulation. My adoption comes with a FREE six-week training class that we can both enjoy! When I get excited, I still tend to jump up and playfully mouth at you like I’m still a puppy. Because of this, I need a home with no children under 12. I’m also a superdog and can easily jump a 4ft fence, I will need a home with a six foot fence. I love being the light of your life and would not like any other animals taking my spotlight! I need a home with no other animals. I’ll need to meet with everyone in the home before leaving the shelter to ensure that it will be a perfect fit. I can’t wait to meet my furever family!
