Hi! My name is Connor. ⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣I’m one of the “Diamond Dogs” here at NHS. Yes, that means that I’m a GEM of a dog. I just need some “polish” & the right “setting” to sparkle as my very best self⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣People describe me as affectionate. I’m cuddly, lovable, like to give kisses and snuggle but I can get uncomfortable easily. I may be a bit nervous as I adapt to a new environment or new people, a process that may be easier in home that has moderate to low traffic. However once I warm up and am comfortable, you better watch out because I’ll be ready to party! I love to be busy, both physically and mentally. I’ll enjoy seeing and doing things with my new family, and prefer an active household. Energetic dogs like me need a family that can provide adequate mental stimulation and exercise, such as running, hiking, kongs, learning tricks or playing fetch. And because of this, I will need a home with a fenced in yard, so no apartments for me! I LOVE to play with toys, especially tug, I also like to do this with my leash. I’m VERY treat motivated!! At this point in my life, I am looking for a home without children under 12. I need to meet all family members, including resident dogs, before going to my new forever home as I want to make sure I can fit right into the family.⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣Connor will be shown by appointment only.
