My name is Molly. ⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣I was in foster care for a little bit with my newborn pups and this is what my foster family had to say about me: Molly (who also answers to the name Babe) is a sweet, gentle, loving dog. She walks like a dream, unless she sees a rabbit or a cat. She enjoys running in the yard, and drinking from the toilet (sorry about that), and she is protective of her home and person. Once she knows someone, she is just as friendly as you could wish. She would prefer to sleep on your bed with you, but is obedient enough that she will get down if you insist. She is house trained, good in the car, and would be good with children. I will miss her.⁣ ⁣I haven’t met a person that I don’t like! It’s all about getting pet and having fun with the family for me! I’m the kind of the companion that may do well with children and with a family that has friends over because I want to be their friend too! Hi, my name is Chase! I love to be busy, both physically and mentally. I'll enjoy doing things with my new family, and prefer an active household. Energetic dogs like me need a family that can provide adequate mental stimulation and exercise, such as short walks, kongs, learning tricks or playing fetch. Otherwise I may find inappropriate ways to expel my energy. I tend to get over stimulated with a lot of activity so structured activities are best for me to keep me calm. I have a hard time seeing dogs and people out and about so I will need an adopter who has the time and dedication to helping me learn some self control in these situations. Hi! My name is Ash. I’m one of the “Diamond Dogs” here at NHS. Yes, that means that I’m a GEM of a dog. I just need some “polish” & the right “setting” to sparkle as my very best self! I am a big and energetic goofball!! I love to be busy, both physically and mentally. I’ll enjoy seeing and doing things with my new family, and prefer an active household. Energetic dogs like me need a family that can provide adequate mental stimulation and exercise, such as walking, hiking, kongs, learning tricks or playing fetch. Otherwise I may find inappropriate ways to expel my energy. I’d be a great addition to a home with adopters that will not rough house with me as this can make me anxious and worried at times. I LOVE playing with other dogs and going to a home with other pups sounds like so much fun! I am looking for a home with kids that are at least 12 years old. However, due to my size and unruly behaviors, an ADULT only home would be best! Because I am so large and fall under the Breed Specific Legislation here in Omaha, I would not be a good fit for an apartment. Ash will be shown by appointment only.
