My name is Maverick and I am looking for a loving home for the holidays! I’m what they call an ambivert, I enjoy being with people and can be outgoing but there are times where I just want to have some “me” time by exploring my surroundings or taking a good snooze in front of the tv. I need a family that will understand that I need a good balance of social situations and down time. I may be older, but I still have love to give and want it in return. As a senior dog I’m looking for a moderate to low key home to spend my golden years. I’m looking for a family dedicated to me for the few years I may have left, and committed to helping me through any ailments as I age. I’m a smart fella that knows sit, shake, down, stay and come! I’m a dog that loves my people and prefers not to share them with any other furry friends in the home. I may just “dog watch” and keep on going for our stroll. I would prefer to be the furry king of my new forever home and must be the only dog. I must go to a home with school aged children as younger children are just too overwhelming for me however, I may do best in a home with children closer to their teens. I need to meet all family members before going to my new forever home as I want to make sure I can fit right into the family.
