Duke is a very unique dog, in that he was put in a position in his previous home where he was made to believe that he needed to be very protective of himself, his space, and the people he knew well. We’ve come a long way with Duke, as he went from lunging at strangers to being able to warm up to new people within a matter of a few days, but he still has a lot of work ahead of him.
